The Halton Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion Roundtable HEDR Membership Program provide an opportunity for individuals and organizations to deepen their commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion (EDI) while accessing exclusive events, learning opportunities, and a powerful network of changemakers. The Halton Equity, Diversity and Inclusion Roundtable (HEDR) is a well-established network of more than 100 member organizations across Halton Region, united in advancing diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) within workplaces and communities. Since its founding in 2013, HEDR has delivered a wide range of capacity-building programs designed to help organizations develop inclusive policies, practices, and cultures.
CAPACITY BUILDING PROGRAMS

Since its founding in 2013, HEDR has delivered a wide range of capacity-building programs designed to help organizations develop inclusive policies, practices, and cultures. Through its membership model, HEDR provides professional learning opportunities that build knowledge and skills.
Including:

Communities of Practice, where members learn together through shared dialogue and reflection on DEI topics.

Anti-Oppression Training that deepens understanding of systemic inequities and equips participants with practical strategies for change.

The Annual Conference, which brings together leaders, practitioners, and community members to explore emerging issues and best practices in DEI.

The Truth & Reconciliation Summit, a dedicated space for learning, dialogue, and collective action in support of Indigenous rights and reconciliation.

Access to practical tools and a virtual learning platform featuring self-guided DEI modules, toolkits, and resources—enabling organizations to engage and grow at their own pace.
